theres currently 117 opponents in 6.5, meaning there are only 10 npcs you can miss maximum to get this card as of this patch

I was missing Tapklix in the Dravanian Hinterlands (22.0, 18). I already had all his cards and you must complete the quest for him to be available to battle.

Helmhart in E. Thanalan is who I was missing. You don't have to finish his quest to unlock him, only accept it, but it blocks out the icon/duel option all the same.

It was freakin Fufulupa that I was missing. He has a quest marker that's hiding their TT icon and none of them cards are unique. Go teach him a lesson: Western Thanalan ( 22.7 , 17.1 )

If you have access to plugins there is one called Triad Buddy, I would not recommend getting this for any other reason than to find the missing NPCs and cards because it makes the minigame unfun if it autosolves them but the card list info it provides is a real time saver.

When I started this grind I was already at 106/107 and obtained all of the NPC obtainable cards. First I went back and rematched every NPC that awarded a card that was available from multiple NPCs, then removed those NPCs from my list alongside any other references to that NPC in the card list. Then I removed all NPCs that awarded cards not available elsewhere in the game (since I already had all of NPC rewarded cards). That narrowed my list down to 14 NPCs, and I got the achievement from the 7th NPC on my list - Linu Vali, which had the TT match indicator above their head.

Don't be a dummy like me and ASSUME you are missing an NPC. Went around to some of the ones listed and realized I got the achi, just never claimed the card. Oops!

My last one was vath deftarm. I visited each of the 107 NPCs on the list and checked the dialogue if "Triple Triad challenge" is available......which it is for the vath even if you cant battle him because rep is missing...I thought since I can battle him but he has no icon, I must have defeated him already. That made me waste 2hours now, thank you inconsistent interface

https://arrtripletriad.com/en/npc-rashaht-rhiki and https://arrtripletriad.com/en/npc-ourdilic were my last NPCs. rashaht, you need to do all the blue quests she has for it to pop up so i think. i just had 1 blue quest and even after i picked it up, i couldnt challenge her. ourdilic is kinda hard to see since other ! quests are covering him up. hope this helps some people

I was missing this one. https://arrtripletriad.com/en/npc-helmhart He has a quest marker until you accept his quest. You do not have to complete it, to play against him.

There are 2 NPCs that require class quests to play against and they're both in Ul'dah. The first is Yayake in the Thaumaturges' Guild who requires you to accept the job quest to play against. The second is Droyn who you have to have completed the Blue Mage quest called Blue Cheese to play against. I have no plans to delve into either of these classes in the immediate future so I always find myself waiting until more triad NPCs are added to catch up on this achievement.

For me, it was Vath Deftarm missing. He has an icon visible on the map, however the daily quest icon covers it up so much that it only becomes visible at the highest map zoom.

For my wife, it was Landenel in the South Shroud that she had skipped (we ended up going to every zone and checking the maps closely to see where the missing icon was).

The ones I was missing were all beast tribe related. Ixal, Vath, and Vanu Vanu have npcs that don't have unique cards but a reputation requirement before unlocking the duel with them.

There's got to be some catch being overlooked, too many people including myself referenced the NPC list here and are coming up 1 short. It has to be a NPC without an exclusive card drop, likely whose map icon is hidden or overridden.

Unfortunately I don't think the one at Radz-at-Han is the missing one. Unless I personally have missed one already known of.

For those missing the last NPC, I believe you're missing the one in Radz-at_Han at the bar. Mehryde at Meyryde's Meyhane. You ahve to progress far enough in the story and complete her little sidequest "A Bond Eternal" before you can get to it.
