starting first you can bait out the ultima weapon by placing a card mid right, though sometimes he places it in a corner instead.

Won 4 out of 21 games but got 2 Scarface Bugaal Ja cards and a Goobbue card. Used Amalj'aa (either Far left, 1 down or 2 down), Behemoth (Far left, 3rd down), Sylph (Center, 1 down), Coeurl, Morbol. Not the best line up, but I managed to get the cards I wanted from him.
