As has been noted, Reverse makes the actual games a cinch, for the most part. You do have to watch out for his Asahi card, which he'll use partway through the match to get a Fallen Ace on you. (At least, if you play something like a Gaelicat.) My 1* deck was Gaelicat, Colibri, Namazu, Amalj'aa, and Stormblood Tataru Taru. The Asahi card dropped on round 52, and I already had the Gaius card.

80~90% winrate with Scions deck: Alphinaud&Alisaie, Urianger, Papalymo&Yda, Thancred and Y'shtola

33 Wins: Zenos x1, Asahi x1

Anonymous Player 8th August, 2019 @ 01:25 pm

27 wins / 32 games for Asahi. Most losses were for my own stupidity. Used Regula van Hydrus, Gaelicat, Amalj'aa, Stormblood Tataru Taru, Karakuri Hanya. Any deck with a garlean card with at least 2 8s and a bunch of cards with double 1s will do. Start with the garlean in a safe spot and abuse Fallen Ace.

Samurai Meowmerz 7th August, 2019 @ 11:11 am

100% win rate with this primal deck for me: Bahamut, Lakshmi, Good King Moogle, Garuda, Alexander Prime. Took me 45 games to win the Asahi card.

Carding_Triad 30th June, 2019 @ 10:37 am

1 star cards work well, ones that have 2s and 3s are good for capturing cards without worrying about reverse-fallen ace (a side of 10 or higher will capture a 1). Tonberry, coblyn, and gaelicat are a few good cards.

Anonymous Player 16th June, 2019 @ 12:43 pm

Took me 3 hours to get both cards. Lost like 8 times and draws every 10th match.

EzziBlack 5th May, 2019 @ 11:31 am

ok, I stop use Imperial cards like him. Since too same and draws I go use more primal cards and win him easy Ifirt, Titan, Garuda, Good King moogle and Bahamut

EzziBlack 5th May, 2019 @ 11:10 am

Can you suggest me which cards easy win him? I every failed....I tried use mine Ascension cards don't work well

Anonymous Player 5th May, 2019 @ 12:04 am

40 wins for 1 Zenos, 60 wins for 1 Asahi. Yeah doesn't make much sense. A simple Imperial or Scion deck will suffice, it's easy to top out cards at A (they won't go past it) so just flip one card and try to hold the lead all the way.

Anonymous Player 27th April, 2019 @ 01:03 am

92 wins overall...71 wins for Zenos and 92 for Asahi. Had Reverse as regional rule and it made this a joke.

100+ Wins not 1 card RNG rules

Anyone here tried using an Imperial Deck with Gaius as the 5-star? I imagine it would be best to try and flip cards early and then just let it play out. Thoughts?

Yesui 11th February, 2019 @ 07:04 pm

205 wins for 10 Asahi and 1 Zenos. Easy to beat with any themed deck (Scions, Empire, Summons) with possibly a 1-star card with 1's to profit from Fallen Ace.

Sorry for the multipost. Site didnt update after hitting send

Used an Imperial deck with Gaius as the 5*. Trick was to flip a couple early, then let it play out as he doesnt have anything that can break the 10s.

Personally I used an Imperial deck with Gaius as the 5*. Trick was to flip a couple early, then let it play out as he doesnt have anything that can break the 10s.

W:90, D:22, L:2. 3 Asahi, 1 Zenos.

Anonymous Player 10th January, 2019 @ 12:06 am

Got Asahi on my 5th win, changed my deck up to go after Zenos. Loaded up on Garlean cards to crank everything up past 10 and then exploited Fallen Ace with Gaelicat and Amalj'aa. Got Zenos on my 10th win, 20 games total.

baroo 30th September, 2018 @ 05:13 am

got Asahi on 57th win. I used a regular Scion ascension deck with Gaelicat to play usually as a last card and flip the +3/+4 ascended cards.

Asinametra 19th September, 2018 @ 10:36 am

20 wins to get the Asahi sas Brutus card. I happened upon him when there was a Reverse rule in the Regional section, which made him an absolute pushover with his all-Garlean deck plus Ascension rule. I just used an all 1-star deck. All wins.

Xha Lho 18th September, 2018 @ 05:58 pm

Took me 42 wins to get the card.

Jan Jensen 18th September, 2018 @ 01:20 pm

To add, rules are Ascension and Fallen Ace, he uses a bunch of Garlean cards. Asahi card dropped from him
