I already had Terra when I went to attempt to get the Colossus. 54 matches, 2 Terras IN A ROW around match 34 (my luck is officially spent for the rest of my lifetime) and he finally dropped the freakin' 2 star card twenty some odd matches later.

I should add - this is a cheating NPC with an RNG rule set, so don't be disheartened if you lose a heap. They've got three 5*s and two 4*s under their arsenal, with four As and six 9s between them, and CHAOS makes holding onto your 1s to turn As over impossible. Just keep it up and eventually RNG will be in your favour!

Wasn't chasing Terra. 4 wins, 0x Terra Branford, 1x Magitek Colossus. Super easy with my Fallen Ace deck -- 5* Hildebrand & Nashu, 4* Ran'jit, 3* Y'shtola, 3* Ysale, 3* Asahi sas Brutus. The deck is specifically designed to counter Terra, Thordan 7 and Merlwyb. Some of these cards can be a grind to get, so here are some replacement suggestions: 5* Hildebrand & Nashu and 4* Ran'jit can be replaced with 4* Shiva, 4* Bismarck, 3* Lyna, 3* Hilda, 3* Titan || 3* Y'shtola and 3* Asahi can be replaced with 3* Forgiven Obscenity, 3* Genbu, 3* Strix, 4* Odin, 4* The Ruby Weapon or 5* Kan-E-Senna (this gives up your 5* slot, and I would recommend 5* H&N over this card) || 3* Ysale can be replaced with 3* Phoebad, 2* Runar, 3* The Griffin, 4* Leviathan or 5* Squall Leonheart (a worthy contender for your 5* slot, I recommend it if you don't have H&N). Mix of strong and weak cards (with 1's on the sides) does the best you can hope for since the Chaos rule makes any real "strategy" impossible. It also helps to remember which aces the overseer still has in his deck and try to plan ahead.

I managed to win every other duel with Noctis, Ruby, the Griffin, Roundrox & Lunar Bahamut. This set gives 3 opportunities to snatch Terra with the Fallen Ace, which you should do whenever you get the chance (he doesn't really think about protecting her once he lays it). Just be mindful of Thordan, especially if he holds it until late in the duel

started winning consistently even with RNG hell with this deck : Y'shtola, Squall, Leviathan, urianger, and The Griffin. if you dont have those explicitely try to replace them with cards that have a 1 to combat the A sides.

Absolute bullshit. Screw the dev who though Chaos would be fun and throw the mofon who gave chaos to this fucker off a cliff. Its impossible. I scored only 2 wins in like 18 matches and that was luck. Chaos takes all the fun and tactics out of TT.

Must be backwards day. I won 3 Terras before I could get the Magitek. I had fairly good luck with Estinien, Ysayle, Hilda, Ramuh, and Squall.

I found the standard 8s + Squall worked well. I played him on/off for months, never more than 10-15 matches at a time. Today I played 7 matches... he gave me 2 Terra's (which I already had) and finally, FINALLY, the Colossus. Thank goodness that's over.

Dont bother getting Terra here, the Dragon's Neck drops it too and you can yeet it in literally (literally) 2 seconds as a bluemage.

Common deck is too difficult against him, as he can has up to 5 rare card in the same match. Make use of the Fallen Ace rule, build a deck with 1 to counter his ACE side.

74 wins / 75 losses / 96 Draws. x9 colossus and got Terra on win 74. Terribly designed NPC Deck for a mechanic that you HAVE to exploit to win but can barely utilize effectively. Just have to pray for good RNG.

Already had Terra from a Mythril pack, thank god. It took 8 wins to get Magitek Colossus. With only 2 minutes left on the clock before the Battlehall closed! He's stacked so do exploit the Fallen Ace rule. Deck used: Y'shtola, Roland, The Ultima Weapon, Thancred, Behemoth.

Jesus F&*king christ. 51 wins to get this card. By far the single most frustrating TT player. Chaos really detracts from the fun of it. I played 150 matches total. LOTS of draws. be wary of this one. Consider buying the mythril packs instead.

Had decent success with Tioman, Ysayle, Hilda, The Griffin, and Squall. Try to use Ysayle/The Griffin and Tioman/Hilda's 1 sides to counter this guy's A's.

Got the Magitek Colossus after 16 wins. Used the following cards: Squall, Tioman, Y'shtola, Ysayle, and Hilda. Always place Squall in the top left corner, sacrifice in the certain spot either Y'shtola of Ysayle - sorry my girl. :( and wait to steal back that card until your last or second to last move. I won 11 games in a row with that, but maybe I got lucky.

can get relatively consistent wins now (50-60%, more draws than losses), so long as chaos rng doesnt screw me over. deck used is squall, hilda, arr y'shtola, seiryu and suzaku, offering several opportunities to flip the weaker sides on cid and the twins and to use fallen ace to its full effect. remember to use and abuse fallen ace when you can, since you cant win with might alone! currently have about four copies of colossus, still waiting on that terra drop...

Really hard to beat. Took me 16 wins to get both cards, but I played for an hour and a half and coutless losses and draws. I used mostly this deck : Hilda, Estinien, Rasho, Lucia and Hhisui & Kurenai.

i havent won once against the Hall Overseer, even with a deck that has multiple cards with 1's on it. either the deck im using (usually recommended with decent-good cards) is bad or the hall overseer's cards are just op/busted. (the recommended deck is usually Ferdiad, Julyan Manderville, Vedrfolnir, Lucia goe Junius and Squall Leonhart)

8 magitek cards to 1 terra ratio for me. My deck: Y'stola, Tioman, Lyna, Noctis Lucis Caelum, Estinien. I had a lot of draws and several losses though, couldn't tell you how much as I stopped counting. Tioman & Lyna were useful

The rules allow for strategy. Even the odds by having cards in your deck with "1" sides to counter his multiple A's with Fallen Ace.

It's another one of these cheater NPC:s that Square Enix loves to put into the game. Will use much better cards than you are allowed to use every time and is not affected by the chaos rule. Be prepared to play a ton of games and just win a few.
