Best NPC for farming MGP. Just use Saucy to automate challenges against him overnight. I went to bed for 7 hours, woke up and had won 40k mgp from just battles and 120k+ from card rewards. Each card sells for 500 mgp

Lost count of matches but took at least an hour to get 1 Yotsuyu 5 Fordola and 4 Grynewaht. Used Holo The-wise-wolf tips usually with the griffin straight after in the bottom corner to bait him. I like to imagine my wol beat the shit out of this guy afterwards for wasting so much time.

Thank you for the advice! About 25 wins (after ALOT) of losses. But once I read some strats I won most. Used as ahi (bottom right to bait the kaanesan, then yshtola, bottom left, then squall top left and then Hancock and Pheg as needed.

Got one of all three cards in 17 wins. Deck used: 5* Squall, 4* A&A, 3* Thancred, 3* The Griffin, 3* Tokkapchi. Tokkapchi could've been replaced with something more useful, but I was tired. Strategy: If starting, A&A in C3 to bait Kan-E-Senna. Take Kan-E-Senna with The Griffin, then bait out A2 and B1 being filled to take those with Squall, then hope RNGesus (or your Tokkapchi replacement) carries you. If he starts with Estinien in A3, put A&A in B3, then Thancred in C1 - if he starts with Yotsuya in C2, put A&A C3, Thancred C1, then take the B3 Kan-E-Senna with The Griffin. You'll end up with a lot of draws but it's very quick and very easy. to run through following this method. It can probably be significantly refined.

Nael and Kanna are his go to cards, especially Nael. You have to bait him into using them early. If he holds them, he knows he's going to win(like they are 2nd of 3rd card last). Mix up corners and straight taking. Full defense(corners)/straight playing will either be a draw or troll you with Nael >_>.

Deck: Squall, Cid Garlond, Estinien, Hilda, Lucia. Since I only played twice and went first both times, I copied the strat below. Lucia is played at 3. Yotsuyu usually played at 6 or 9. Throw Cid in the middle for bait. Opponent played armored weapon down at 4 both times. (A third try for fun and he threw down Kan-e-Senna) Squall at 1. He doesn't play at 2 for some reason. Play Hilda to recapture Cid and clean up for the win.

40Wins. 11 Fordola - 9 Grynewaht - 1 Yotsuyu. Used a similar deck as a user below. Estinien, ShB WoL, Cid Garlond, Lucia and Hilda. Cid usually went into the center of my board on my second or third move. Second if I had first move, Third if I did not. If I had first OR second move, I would play lucia top right UNLESS, the Imperial played first and put estinien bottom right. in that scenario place estinien top left but repeat placing Cid center. the rest should play out easily enough. try to bait the Imperial so you can use the WoL card top right and get some good captures. The only hiccup with this theory is that the Yotsuyu card can still be captured from the bottom side with Kan-E-Senna. To avoid this, I adjusted the above plays to have Lucia bait Yotsuyu to the bottom row, then capture her with Cid.

I followed houseofmagic's plan only I had Phoebe instead of Asahi, mainly because I didn't have Asahi but also because having an extra card with a 1 on the left meant I could steal Kan if he wasn't playing his usual game.

Grynewath is roughly 3~4 times more rare than either Yotsuyu or Fordola.

88W/52D/10L to get 3 Yotsuyu and 1 Fordola. Deck: Asahi, Estinien, Squall, Ysayle, Hilda. As others have mentioned, going first you can get close to 100% win rate, when he goes first it's maybe 50/50 (W/D). With my deck, if you go first: play Ysayle in the middle, 95% of the time he'll take her with Yotsuya on the left, then you retake her with Hilda up top. Easy win from there. The other 5%, he'll use Yot on top, and you use Hilda top right to take Yos. When he goes first, he seems to only play two cards(Yot and Estinien), but in different spots and the game can change a lot from there.

86wins 64draws 25losses= 175matches at 49%　Win Rate 4 Yotsuyu, 1 Gryne, 1 Fordola I was able to win about 80% of the time when I went first by baiting out Senna, and using the cards he owned as walls, snatching the last one with my A. On the other hand, I ended up in a draw 80% of the time when he went first. I'm sorry I can't give great tips, but generally it seems safer to play from bottom up as both Senna and Yotsuyu have a 9 at the top, then play a top corner to bait out another card, then use your A to take Nael. This was for when I went first. I generally didn't have a win when I went second, though it seems that I would win if I took a card first, then aggressively baited him by continuously taking cards before finishing with my A.

33 wins for all cards. 88% win rate with this: Titania, Squall Leonhart, The Griffin, Arnevald Lentinus, Hilda. Start with Titania in the bottom left (or if that spot is taken, go one above it). This baits Kan-E-Senna who you can then snatch with The Griffin using Fallen Ace. After that, the strategy varies, but I often found myself using Squall right in the middle of the board or in the top left corner.

76 wins, 4 Fordola, 1 Yotsuyu, got big fella in Fate in advance. My win rate was between 40% and 60% (lower than other folks mentioned). What worked good for me (at the end I was close to 85% win rate for like 20 matches) - I replaced one of card to a weaker one (King Mog) and played him in the center when I was first, and then I was dancing around him

Another Imperial with a terrible drop rate. Must have taken me a couple of hours of solid play to win all three cards. Got 5 Yotsuyu and 6 Fordola before Grynewaht finally came home.

60 wins. 3 Grynewaht, 3 Fordola, 1 Yotsuyu. Rules were just Fallen Ace and my deck used was Ysayle, Squall, The Griffin, Lucia goe Junius, and Hilda. The strategy I found most reliable was to place Griffin in the Bottom Middle, followed by Squall in the Left Middle, Lucia Top Middle, then Ysayle in the Center. Regardless of whether you start first or not this method seemed to be around 90& winrate. AI gets smart and changes it up sometimes but always goes back to falling for this strategy after like 2 or 3 draw/loss

Squall, The Griffin, Hilda, Ysayle, Kal Myhk was the deck combo that worked consistantly well for me with this one. There are probably some better decks for it, but this works nicely with baited play to give you a chance to use the fallen ace opportunities or a safe play of squall's aces to flip those 9s should they line up properly. Took forever to get Fordola to drop. 133 wins, 12 Grynewaht, 9 Yotsuyu, 1 Fordola

Always, always, always put Ysale in mid , then Haurchefant on top of her, squall upper left. Goal is to have SquLL cap the card beklow him and Haurchefant at same time. Win

Starting with Lucia in the Bottom right corner was an almost guaranteed win, as he'd follow either with BM Kan-E-Senna to take her (Estinien could then take Kan-E) or BL Kan-E (Ysayle could take her).

The strongest move is to always put the Griffin in the lower left corner if at all possible, following up with Qitian Dasheng to center, and take both cards if they get captured using Raubahn and Pipin.
