used the ysayle shiva deck strat in the comments but bitch would not drop the card and was a real pain cos felt like they placed the cards all over with few set patterns. As long as the middle stays free shiva is the key to winning.

I only had about 80 cards to work with, so this is a suboptimal deck, but worked well enough to get Unei & Doga plus three Phlegotons: Shiva (8188) in center top, then Onion Knight (lucky drop from WoD: A828) and Gilgamesh from Hildi stuff (3837) and Matoya (1838) were the rest of my cards. Snagged the win with a "same" rule off her Phleg, using Griffin I think.

Took me a while to figure it out. As suggested, I built a deck specifically for this guy - Estinen, Lucia, Brute Justice (the key to it all), Hilda and Shiva. If I went first, I went Lucia in bottom right. Klynthota went Cloud bottom middle (flipped Lucia), I went Hilda top Right, he went Xande middle right (flipped Hilda), I went Brute middle and flipped all four back to me. Then it was all over. After testing, I found he didn't react the same every time, but often enough to win - 18 matches - 10W, 2D, 6L - Xande x2, Cloud x 1, Phleg x 2 and Unei x 1.

Built a similar deck to Yabusa's suggestion but didn't have Fat Chocobo. Instead, I used Brute Justice. I didn't use any particular strat, either. Just start with Lucia bottom-right if you go first and use your 88 corner cards in each corner. Seeing as it's all 8's, and seeing as AI uses various 7-sided cards, Brute Justice typically Same/Combos enough to win, unless they use some random janky moves.

Yabusa's Strategy didn't work for me. The opponent is not playing the cards in the order he said at all. For example I play Hilde in the top right and it just doesn't get taken. Instead he puts a card randomly in the bottom right, doing nothing.

Using EricARR's modified strat worked but since I didnt have fat choc I swapped it out for raya o senna and used vidofnir instead of hades. Worked v well, 23w, 5l, 5d and I got 1 phlegethon, 1 xande, 3 unei. Had cloud of darkness from raid.

Reposting yabusa's strategy from 10.1.20 since it was near flawless. If you don't have Hades, you can swap in Vidofnir for the same effect (note: the strategy below is if you go first, in my experience): Yabusa: "I found 98% win guarantee. Herefore, you need: Lucia, Hilda, Fat Chocobo, Estinien, Hades. Bottom Right: Lucia - gets taken Top Right: Hilda - gets taken Middle of L-shape: Fat Chocobo - takes everything Top Left: Estinien - get's taken + combo x2 (scary!) Bottom Left: Hades - Takes the entire deck. (HAH) 30+ games with the same result and cards :D (If he starts it can shift a bit but try stick to the strat)". If he goes first, I just went with an aggressive play taking his cards and still won consistently. Got lucky on Unei & Dogi- 15 wins, 6th Xande, 15th Unei & Doga.

The Blue Dragon card is what I considered a 'Bait' card, trying to lure the AI away from where you can combo with Brute Justice the next turn. Lakshmi usually was north. Adjust as needed.

I needed Unei & Doga, had all the others. Use increasedropsplease 11/21/19 strat but didn't change it. The deck works, but she moves Xande a lot more than rarely. Nevertheless, her moves are adjustable to with this deck. She'll start throwing really random combinations at some point. Just roll with it. Drop rate was not good. Before the strat - 10 games, 3W/5L/2D. After - 28 games, 19W/5L/4D. 1 U&D at win 19. Nothing else dropped.

It took way too many wins to get my Unei & Doga card. I had a couple Draws, a handful of Losses, and enough Wins to raise my mgp by a couple thousand or so. I only saw two card drops - Xande and U&D. Squeenix really loves those low droprates...

Using Same and Plus, if you have Gaius's card, my card deck is Chimera, Livia sas Junius, Gaius, Blue Dragon, Rhithatyn Sas, you will have Same and plus all the way to get you win.

I found a good strat that worked for me: Lucia, Hilda, Cloud, Fat Chocobo, and Genbu (though Estinien/The Griffin would have worked here with how I ended up using it). Start with Lucia bottom right, and she will almost always take it with Cloud of Darkness. Then go Hilda top right, and she will almost always take it with Xande between Lucia and Hilda. Drop Fat Chocobo in the bosom of that L shape, and watch all of those cards become yours. She then often takes Fat Chocobo with Phlegethon from the left, to which you can respond with Genbu/Estinien/Griffin in bottom left to take Phlegethon and combo back Fat Chocobo. Last card almost doesn't matter... *however*, for the rare times she does NOT put Xande between your right corners but still takes Lucia with CoD, Cloud can take Lucia back and have his 8 facing out. Took me 36 wins to get Unei & Doga. Took 26 to get any drop at all (and it was the 5-star Cloud of Darkness, go figure) and then another 10 for U&D.

Let's just look at the percentages and see if any of that makes sense in order of highest to lowest and how many drops I actually got. Xande is at 1.19% and dropped 5. Unei is 0.9% and dropped 12. Phlegethon is at 0.6% and dropped 0. Cloud of Darkness is at 0.3% and dropped 4... I'm on my second game day fully dedicated to getting Phlegethon and it's still not dropping... This game is trolling me I swear.

Slighty modification on Snoogz's strat. Griffin, Ysayle, Hilda, Alpha, and Terra. Since most of the action takes place in the upper right, Terra has a better chance of making use of the ace placement. Alpha is mostly there as filler, though the full 6s can pick up some handy plus/same from time to time. 6 wins on this attempt, but who knows how many overall. Lots and lots.

Switching my deck to: Estinien, Lucia, Ysayle, Hilda and Squall bumped my win rate up to 80%. Use Yesui's tactic to always place Lucia in BR and you should be golden. Out of 54 wins I got 4 Unei cards and 1 Phlegethon.

I got Unei&Doga after about 30 wins. I used Ysayle, Hilda, The Griffin, Qiitan Dasheng, and Squall. I can win 90% of the hands by putting Ysayle top center, letting her get taken, then put The Griffin middle right, letting him get taken, then putting Hilda upper right, using Same to get both cards back (and usually combo back Phlegethon if he's at center). Then it's just a matter of taking 1 or 2 cards with Squall, depending on where the AI goes next. It becomes unwinnable for the AI in most hands after your 4th move.

It took me 191 wins to to get all three cards, Saw two each of Phlegethon, and Xande, and one Cloud of Darkness to end it. The Drop rate is as low as it goes for NPC's. Used Ysayle, Thancred, Urianger, Terra, Estinen

Dropped two "Cloud of Darkness" over the course of two spawns. I've heard she drops two other cards (the bosses from CT raid) but cannot confirm.
