Phoenix

5 9 6 9

Fuck this game!

Anonymous Player 10th July, 2023 @ 01:14 am

Won it on my first tournament (all NPC) playing on Dynamis

Anonymous Player 14th June, 2023 @ 07:40 am

it is freaking impossible to get this card. whoever made the decisison to win a tournament can touch grass. complaining for luck i guess.

Anonymous Player 2nd May, 2023 @ 11:34 pm

Playing against NPC is like "you wanna win ? nah, i will always find someone to have one point above you, suck it"

Anonymous Player 11th January, 2023 @ 03:29 am

Got it first time in the most tense game of my life by playing against 7 other players in draft. Thank god the tourney doesn't have tiebreakers so multiple people can get first lol

Anonymous Player 16th October, 2022 @ 09:56 pm

Was actually not from Rowena, my bad. Sorry guys I am stupid :D

Anonymous Player 15th October, 2022 @ 11:51 pm

I got it from playing against Rowena

f1eurdelys 9th October, 2022 @ 11:26 am

oh nvm i got it!!!! :D

f1eurdelys 9th October, 2022 @ 10:01 am

lots of attempts, no card yet *sigh* i will keep going no matter what

Vice Versa 13th September, 2022 @ 04:32 am

Thought I'd try my hand at nabbing this before maintenance and got it on my first try in a plus/swap tournament. Some of the NPCs (particularly the ones with illegal decks) are harder than PvP Draft. If I can do it, you can do it!! Tip: In a plus or same ruleset, look for opportunities to flip the whole board in your favor with a combo on the last turn. If you do it once, you might win. If you do it twice, you're basically guaranteed the card because your standing will be just that high.

cinnamoroll 20th June, 2022 @ 06:15 pm

tournaments are every two hours and you can do around three sets if you're there on time, so it wasn't terrible to get. got it on my second try.

Anonymous Player 17th May, 2022 @ 05:39 am

after 20 or so attemps I managed to win one at 5am. by far the worst even topping edens promise imo.

Anonymous Player 27th April, 2022 @ 11:37 am

Why do you need this for the mount? SE hit their head?

Anonymous Player 25th March, 2022 @ 11:12 am

played against all NPCs, only draft rule made this easier than most other rules

Anonymous Player 11th March, 2022 @ 01:20 am

same anonymous player as below, of course I complain about the card and get extremely lucky with a reverse/three open ruleset tournament. Try aiming for those to get this card, NPC AI will still pick bigger cards from draft.

Anonymous Player 9th March, 2022 @ 06:58 pm

why the fuck is this a required card lmao.

Anonymous Player 18th February, 2022 @ 11:24 am

Nearly got Open to Victory II (win 50 matches) and still dont have this. I hate this garbage

Anonymous Player 31st January, 2022 @ 11:09 pm

got it on my 7th attempt. 1 real player + myself and 6 npcs. won against the real player and 1 npc, and drew with the last npc. wasn't so bad afterall!

Anonymous Player 31st January, 2022 @ 07:21 am

fuck this card. I hate triple triad and I hate whoever made this card locked behind tournaments

ochocho 23rd January, 2022 @ 03:40 pm

Got on 4th tournament. Was doing just for fun, but holy cow I did it!

Anonymous Player 5th January, 2022 @ 11:41 am

Got on at 5am to get this stupid card. Lost or tied to NPCs all 4 tries..

Merkhen 2nd October, 2021 @ 03:54 pm

Got it at my first tournament (draft), only played 5 torunaments, won all 5.

Karl Bey 29th September, 2021 @ 05:23 pm

Won on 4th try, plus rule (but it never came to that so it was like a simple draft game). I'm an average player with no advanced skills or strat, just some common sense and a bit of luck and it shouldn't take long to get (I was against 3 or 4 real players).

Anonymous Player 17th September, 2021 @ 07:51 pm

There will always be an element of luck, because different opponents will have different skill levels. But there's plenty of fools right now, especially if you get one with mostly NPCs. They're total saps~.

Legend of the hidden fentanyl 12th September, 2021 @ 09:13 am

Pure RNG due to captures breaking ties. Just grind and grind.

CastDeath 10th September, 2021 @ 11:33 pm

Won in a draft with no special rules. My advice pic recommended deck and always use your weakest cards first save your 4 and 5 stars for last if you can.

Anonymous Player 11th August, 2021 @ 07:25 am

First ever Open Draft, no special rules at all, got 1st spot. Lucky I guess cause of no special rules. Also, NPC fights until last one which was against a player. Won 2 NPC, Draw one, win against player.

Anonymous Player 10th August, 2021 @ 05:13 pm

Got it during reverse rule with mostly npcs, they still choose cards with high numbers.

Anonymous Player 5th August, 2021 @ 01:30 pm

I can't win games with draft even against the npc's, this is driving me nuts

Anonymous Player 5th August, 2021 @ 09:28 am

I would always get 2nd or lower playing with actual opponents but I logged in at 5am my time and all NPCs and boom got the achievement in 10min first game. Easy if you log in at weird time

Anonymous Player 31st July, 2021 @ 01:22 am

Every tourney I've been in thus far has had one person farm another for points. After that, they simply need to draw twice to win. Great job Square

Anonymous Player 29th July, 2021 @ 12:19 am

gg se

Anonymous Player 20th July, 2021 @ 12:30 pm

Idk why y'all saying npcs are easier, i tried a couple of times and it's always the npcs who throw me off the 1st place since they always have better cards/ones that mine are useless against ;w; Can you cheat this one? If you register as full party do you play with those 8 ppl only? I could ask fc to let me win once this way if it's possible ToT

Little Aure (Lich) 3rd July, 2021 @ 11:47 am

I just signed up for an Open Tournament - Basic rules. Picked my deck; won every match, which was not hard at all - made first place and got the achievement. All in like 10 minutes.

Anonymous Player 3rd July, 2021 @ 05:35 am

Took me 2 tries. First one was against all npc, 2nd one had a real player in it. Not as difficult as I thought. The more cards you capture the more points you get btw.

Anonymous Player 29th June, 2021 @ 01:48 am

I was able to get Phoenix card on reverse rules, recommended deck. Beat 2 real players and final showdown against an NPC. Not as hard as I thought it would be. (About an hour or so of time overall)

I don't know if "Anonymous Player from 21st April, 2021 @ 06:08 pm" can see this, but you get the achievement rewards from the achievement itself now.

Anonymous Player 17th June, 2021 @ 05:18 pm

Yeah SE doesn't think things trough with the card mount. I'm not a god at this childrens card game and don't want to pay real money for a win either.

Anonymous Player 13th June, 2021 @ 01:42 am

Tournament participation required for a mount, good job Square...

Anonymous Player 21st April, 2021 @ 06:08 pm

I've completed the achievement but don't have the card. It says unclaimed in my achievement log, but talking to the achievements guy in Gridania doesn't give any option to claim the card.

Anonymous Player 27th March, 2021 @ 04:45 am

I've won multiple draft tournaments but don't have this? Is this the wrong tournament instance?

EricARR 23rd February, 2021 @ 07:17 pm

Tourney with no rules (only draft) was easier than tourneys with additional rules, at least for me.

Anonymous Player 11th February, 2021 @ 03:39 am

Feels impossible. 0/8 Now.

Anonymous Player 9th January, 2021 @ 09:26 pm

Got lucky and got an all-NPC tournament. Easy first place. The Plus and Same rules were there but only took effect once, in my favor (took all their cards!)

Urcyd Sardis- Moogle 25th December, 2020 @ 08:26 pm

So I got the tournament leader title the other day and I thought I'd help since I don't find a lot of tips here. You can do 3 to 4 tournaments in each 30mn window. Honestly the absolute best way to win a tournament (or 50 if you're going for the title) is to do the night time ones, especially during the week. That's when you have the highest chance to fight NPCs and if you're lucky you can rack up 4 tournaments wins and 12 games wins (150 needed for the umbrella) with just one window. Good luck everyone :)

icycola9 20th December, 2020 @ 09:31 am

You can try several times within 1 window. I chose a time (1am) when few are on, and NON-standard rules (harder), and I ended up playing all NPCs and won 2 games, draw on 1, and still won the tourney.

ElysTT 14th December, 2020 @ 10:02 am

As Dae said below, not impossible. Never done any kind of tournament before and got it during early morning dead hours with Reverse ruleset and corner 1s. Pretty sure I ended up winning since I didn't have to go first 2/3 matches, didn't even know this card existed or how to get it, just got lucky overall.

Dae 14th December, 2020 @ 07:14 am

I've won two tournaments so far, one was during the first tournament window at 5 am cst after patch dropped, the other was at some random time during the day with just Draft rules. It is not impossible. Regular draft does seem to be the least likely to leave you with a crappy pool of cards to choose from. You can usually make something decent out of any draft if there's no other rules to worry about. Reverse is probably the roughest rule to draft as you will often have a pool with little to no 1s and even rarer are corner 1s which are like gold in that format.

Viktor Ilievski 13th December, 2020 @ 04:56 pm

So impossible for people who don't cheat?

Grey Dragonheart 8th December, 2020 @ 03:20 pm

Achievement first place card tournament
