In EN this NPC is called "Gavoll Ja". I have lost to this ugly lizard so many times. I've played under both Chaos + Ascension and Chaos + Fallen Ace and won a few times but no card to show for it. I've been using a deck with Nald (7-8-1-6) and Lyna (3-1-8-8) and Squall (1-6-8-8) and Suzaku (7-1-7-7) and Ultima Weapon (1-7-8-9) for fallen ace day and getting mixed success. Half the time I could easily win with either my card or one of the weapons one it mixes in due to chaos the game "randomly" selects the other one. If only you knew how bad it really is. Just today 12W 7L 17D. We have to KILL chaos

I used "Lucia goe Junius", "Cloud Strife", "Cid Garlond", "Ysayle", and "Hilda". Not fool-proof by any means but it can protect almost any side while utilizing "Plus" at certain intervals (flipping two cards for the price of your played card, as it were). Feel free to adjust this deck and pass along a better set to duel with!

The most cracked NPC i've run into this xpac so far. Horrific drop rate and my winrate was trash for a long time too. I hate Chaos+Plus with a passion, and this guy just has a great deck stacked with high stars. I found it pretty difficult to play with a standard deck with strong corners, but his cards are so strong and Chaos so annoying that a generic weak plus deck with easy-to-plus numbers gets rolled easily too. I found the best way is to just build an All-Scion (or equivalent) deck to abuse ascension - once everyone gets enough boosts, the game just treats them as "10" for plus purposes so its easy to set up plus combos and it barely matters where you play your cards because they all stack your bonus. It does make fallen ace relevant, but its better than trying to actually play a serious game under Chaos rules. First card at 62 wins.
