20 games: 14W, 3D, 3L; 4 Mammoth, 1 Sadu. I had success with an all-8 attack (3 corner-8 cards and 2 triple-8 cards). My specific deck was Lucia, Hilda, Ysayle, Regula, and Shiva. The only card Munglig can use to take one of your cards (aside from the Same rule) is Cid, so play around that. If he can safely play Cid in a slot, assume that any card you play to the right of or below that slot would be in danger and play it somewhere else that's safe. Since he has some 8s as well, just be mindful of which ones have already been played.

Did this guy while he was Reverse/Same/Chaos, and it's so easy. Just make sure you're using a bunch of cards with low numbers.

I happened to try him when Ascension was up which made him stupid easy, but his drop rate is horrible. Upwards of 60 wins got me... 1 mammoth and 1 Sadu. If you're not in a rush, waiting for Ascension and using a deck of Titan, Garuda, Ifrit, King Mog and Heavensward Y'shtola will get you continuous wins.

ascension/sudden death/same/chaos rules....99.9% winrate using susano, alexander, sophia, garuda, and lakshmi. just bait the center with susano, take it back after he takes it, take one more card, then turtle except for taking same matches when you see them after the numbers start scaling.

Not sure about the wins, but about an hour and 45 minutes to get the card. Rules were Reverse, Chaos, Same so easy wins but lengthy time for a card.
