After a lot of bad beats, I changed up and went with Alpha and a bunch of 8 8 corners. I'd play Alpha in the center and just keep flipping it with my 8s and set up plus combos. Keeping the center from the NPC is key.

32 wins to get both Rhoswen and Mistbeard. (Zero Merlwyb in that time, but I had her from before anyway.) Personally, I always started top left with Ysayle, as a safe bet, and went from there. So long as you avoid Plus (and dodgy Roulette rules), she's not too hard to consistently beat.

If you use lots of 8-sided cards, be careful of stacking one side of the board with them facing outwards, especially if she starts Leviathan left-center square. That makes it far easier to set up for plus with Mistbeard and Rhoswen.

Low drop rates on this one but quite easy. Played Asahi / Genbu / Griffon / Ysayle / Hisui & Kurenai Bait her cards with Genbu in the middle asap, then counter every card she poses, she can't use Plus most of the time this way.

I used a typical deck with lots of 8s and the npc couldn't really do much about it. Try to plus when you can, Same works as plus too, keep that in mind

14 Rhoswen 1 Vaan started whit 109 and 0 Merlwyb.!!!!!!! Does she have any conditions to be dropped? This is insane. Lucia; Archeaonis;Bartz; Esinien; Hatamoto did not find the right order jet. If she is not playing a strange variant u can almost win any rule exept Chaos and order. Be carefull whit Same. Dont be afraid placing Lucia in the middle but never ever Esinien or Lucia in bottom right.

So, aside from Terra, Bartz and Onion Knight, Merlwyb is the only card I miss from NPC duels. Because I also needed to farm roulette matches 200 more times to get my Vaan card, I decided to try this NPC. I have 20 Rhoswen cards, Vaan card and....0 Merlwyb. Yes, I defeated this character 200 times, without a single drop of Merlwyb. FML

From what I saw the cards he has are Mistbeard, Leviathan, Carvallain de Gorgagne (which seem to be always present) then a combination of Kraken, Merlwyb Bloefhiswyn, Mandragora, and Baderon Tenfingers.
